Welcome to the new Birth Network of Augusta blog!
We value each and every one of you, our guests, as you attend our meetings, follow us on Facebook, see us around the community, or remain valued online guests because you don’t live nearby.
We welcome families who choose hospital births, birth center births, home births, or unassisted births; un-medicated births, epidurals, or water births; doulas (or no doulas), and obstetricians or midwives!
We welcome those who are informed as well as those who are seeking to become more informed.
We welcome questions, constructive criticism, and suggestions for how we can better meet your needs and the needs of our community.
We would love to help you learn about the varied birth options available to you in our community. We love to talk about birth and to help mothers reach their goals, not only of having a healthy mother and a healthy baby, but also of having a birth that they can look back upon with unmitigated joy, knowing that they made the best decisions they could for themselves and their babies given their specific situation and comfort level.
Thank you for being a part of our birthing community! We look forward to serving you – whatever your needs may be!
